The Prosper Group is looking for contractors and potential employees with the following skill sets:

Website Manager

The website manager is responsible for:

• Maintaining existing Wordpress Mu and Drupal websites by:
• Updating content through the content management system
• Creating additional assets for clients (including web-ready graphics and javascripts) and integrating them into an existing site
• Modifying existing themes/templates to update designs and provide additional functionality
• Set up hosting accounts through Plesk
• Creating and maintaining e-mail subscription lists for clients
• Creating and maintaining online advertising campaigns
• Troubleshooting bugs and providing client support

Required Skills:

• Experienced in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
• Background in using Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in Photoshop.
• Experience creating and maintaining websites and an understanding of how to update sites through SFTP/SSH.
• Experience in updating database driven sites utilizing open source software (Drupal, Wordpress).
• Strong understanding of integrating social media into a site and using social networks for promotional purposes.
• Familiarity with PC and Mac platforms, and testing websites across a wide variety of browsers.
