The Prosper Group Leads the Way from Blue to Red in 2019 Elections

Big news from the 2019 elections this week: The Prosper Group clients WON in Democrat strongholds!

By bringing our digital strategy, online fundraising, and targeted advertising expertise to bear in delivering the right messages to the right audiences, our clients won highly contested races.

With the 2020 elections on the horizon, The Prosper Group delivered results. We flipped offices in Democrat strongholds from blue to red, and protected other key offices targeted by the Democrats.

We are proud to have played a role in big victories from local to statewide elections, in places like Kentucky, Indiana, and Virginia.

Kentucky

In Kentucky, Daniel Cameron became the first Republican elected Attorney General since World War II.

“We are thrilled to have helped Daniel Cameron make Kentucky history as the first African-American independently elected statewide," said The Prosper Group President and Co-Founder Kristen Luidhardt. "He is a rising star in the party, and this race was incredibly hard-fought.

"In these types of campaigns, budgets are tight. We helped Cameron’s team maximize their budget, by targeting the right messages to the right voters at the right time.”

Indiana

Just north of Kentucky, Indiana voters continued the blue to red trend.

History was made on election night with a record of 70 Republicans elected as mayors in Indiana.  In total, 19 mayoral offices flipped from Democrat to Republican.

Clients Tyler Moore of Kokomo and Dan Ridenour of Muncie lead the way in critical races. In Muncie, Ridenour led a wave that saw the council swing to Republican control for the first time in 40 years.

Virginia

The Prosper Group's clients fended off challenges in Virginia, as well-funded Democrats won new majorities in the House of Delegates and the Senate.

State Senator Mark Peake and Delegate Michael Webert both celebrated big wins on Tuesday. Webert fended off a Democrat opponent who outraised him 2-to-1.

Republican Digital Strategy

“It is important to treat every race, every campaign, uniquely. This has always been our approach,” said The Prosper Group Vice-President and Co-Founder Kurt Luidhardt.

“I think that is why we have had such success helping Republicans win in Democrat strongholds. With a strong digital presence and the right strategy, you can swing the outcome of elections... even in places where others say it can’t be done.
