After earning her Master of Arts in Political Communication from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Julie moved back home to Rockford, IL. She volunteered for Congressman Don Manzullo's campaign and learned the fine art of politics, including phone calling and door knocking. Post-election, the campaign manager resigned, and Don asked Julie to join his team. She stayed with Congressman Manzullo for seven election cycles, eventually moving from the campaign side to work in his official District Office as his Deputy Director of Communications.
In 2012, Julie moved into healthcare marketing, where she worked as a senior marketing specialist and webmaster at a health system for eight years. Her love of current events ultimately lured her back to the political field. She joined The Prosper Group in October 2021, taking on the role of Client Success Manager. Julie enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, watching cooking shows, and traveling. She's visited 46 states, Mexico, Canada, and several countries in Europe. Next on the bucket list: a cooking class in Italy, a photography class in Ireland, and exploring Scotland and England.
